Story: Regina is an upright and straightforward girl. Her world revolves around her father, who is a social activist. However, tragedy strikes her life, when her father gets accidentally killed during an incident. A friend of her father takes her under his wing and soon gets her married to Jo, an employee at a Private bank in Pollachi,Tamilnadu. Regina gets a new lease of life with this marriage and leads a simple but contented life with Jo, in a rented house. Their landlord lives on the ground floor. After many years into the marriage, Regina finally conceives. The couple are avenged. One day, a well planned heist takes place at Jo’s bank. When the gang starts attacking the bank staff, Jo intervenes and tries to stop them. One of the gang members brutally attacks and kills Jo. Regina rushes to the hospital as soon as gets the news. Her cries for help are in vain, as Jo is gone forever. Regina’s life is shattered, yet again. She spends the days ahead confined in her room, all alone. She walks out one day, without a word, after handing over the keys to the owner. Her whereabouts are not known to anyone.

Regina 2023 Dual Audio HDCAM – Review:-

The movie started with a usual narration style of how the female lead lost her spouse and fighting for justice, giving us the impression that it is going to be another revenge movie. But once when the twists start unveiling, it keeps us engaged. Sunaina could have been more expressive in few action and emotional scenes that sometimes felt that the background score took over the moment rather than the actor’s contribution. But good thing is, the director kept Sunaina’s character as subtle yet strong till the end and didn’t overdo anything like in some other movies, where the female leads will start flying and kick Villans, overnight.

The bestest thing of the movie is the melodious song “Sooravali polae”, which you may keep humming unknowingly, and the background score throughout the movie. Sathish Nair doesn’t seem like a new guy to the music field. Kudos.
